Wellesley Colonial Revival

We partnered with a young family to update this 1947 Colonial, honoring its traditional character while introducing fresh, livable warmth. Texture, pattern, and soft color weave throughout—from the formal dining room to a cozy breakfast nook—creating spaces that feel both refined and relaxed.

In the living room, a neutral palette lets natural oak shelving and patterned loveseats shine. French doors connect to the sunroom beyond, enhancing light and flow between spaces.

The sunroom, wrapped in windows, draws the garden indoors. Warm wood accents ground the space, making it feel like a true extension of the outdoors.

In the primary suite, a canopy bed anchors the generous footprint, with layered seating areas that make the room feel intimate and inviting.

Soft floral wallpaper and a striped botanical headboard set a gentle, welcoming tone in this guest room.

In the nursery, we wallpapered the ceiling for an unexpected moment overhead, while ochre and pale blue accents add playful color.
